With over 35 years of experience in the retail industry, I understand the importance of excellent customer service and strive to meet 100% of our core values on every single retailer’s project:
Follow Through, Solutions Focused, Be Helpful, Do the Right Thing, Be Human
I have always loved art, furniture, fashion and interior design. A BA in Fine Arts from the University of Texas provided the creative background that jump started me in the field of Visual Merchandising. As a Director of VM for a 600+ door retailer, I was responsible for purchasing both fixtures and mannequins. Econoco was our primary fixture and hardware supplier, so it was an easy transition from buying these items to switching to the sales side of retail as a National Account Executive for Econoco and Mondo Mannequins. 20 years ago, as a retail buyer I appreciated the custom capabilities, large assortment of in-stock items and the 1-stop shop aspect of Econoco and Mondo. And I still find that rings true for our clients today. If I had to choose one aspect of my job that I truly love, it would be the business friendships that have developed over the years. Afterall, the retail / vendor relationship is what makes the store magic happen! We Sell the Stuff that Sells your Stuff.
In my spare time, I like to shop farmers markets and hit up yard sales or antique malls for that special bargain something. You never know when Antique Roadshow might show up at your hometown to declare you own a hidden masterpiece.
